Alright, to get started with turning your blog into a make money online business, the first thing you need is a Blog , wow that was a big surprise. When you start building your Blog one of the most important things to do is select your subject of interest. This is crucial, because if your subject is something you are not interested in it is going to be very hard for you to regularly write good posts, it will also become boring and unfruitful to you. The subject you pick can be your favorite hobby such as, golfing , fishing, gardening, R/C helicopters, you name it; your subject can be on anything and everything, just be sure that you enjoy the subject, and that you will not have trouble talking about it regularly on your Blog.
OK, so the hard part of selecting your subject and title for your blog is done. Now you need to chose a blogging platform, I recommend WordPress or Blogger. After you have an account set up with your blogging platform of choice, you need to decide whether to buy a domain name and pay for a hosting service, or to just host for free, on your blogging platform of choice. If you host for free you will get a domain name such as: www.blogtitle.blogspot.com , it is recommended to buy a domain name if you have the money, but this is not necessary as there are hundreds of high ranking good sites out there that don’t have a paid for domain name.
Now that everything is set up all you need to do is start blogging. In your first blog post do not post the default hello world, this is absolutely useless. Instead, opt for a really good post that will introduce your hobby and/or subject of interest.
It may take some time before your site becomes popular and gets submitted to the search engines, but be patient and keep adding content, because this is what search engines like Google, like. Great, you now have a full functioning blog with a steady stream of readers and subscribers! It is time to make some money online! To start, you can go to www.google.com/adsense. Google AdSense is a program that allows you to add Google sponsored adds to your site, Google will then pay you for every time someone clicks on one of the adds, how much Google pays you varies anywhere from 5cents up to 7 dollars per click. To get started with Google AdSense you need to have a Google account and submit your site for review. Then after that, simply insert the adds HTML code into your site, and you will start generating money.
After applying for Google AdSense (or if you do not wish to sign up with Google AdSense), you can start a advertising service on your site. Which will generate you money by placing sponsored links on your site. If you are popular enough, the sponsors will find you themselfs, but you can also add a advertice here link on your site. The way your sponsors pay you is decided by you, but it is usually based on a monthly or weekly flat fee.
