Success is in the Links!
In order for your blog to be successful, you need to get on the front page of Google. To do that, you need good content, good meta tags, great keywords, and the most important of all links.
How will links help you make money online? Links will help you to make money online, because of how Google ranks websites. Google ranks your site based on the number of quality links pointing to your site from other websites, your keywords and the originality of your content.
Were might I find these quality links? You will find good quality links by sending an email to other blogs or websites that would be willing to exchange links with you.
To exchange links with another website:
- Find a website that has a similar topic to yours, but it should not be competing with your website.
- Place a link on your website, that is pointing to the website you wish to exchange links with.
- Send a polite email explaining that you would like to exchange links with the website in question, and tell him/her that you have already placed a link pointing to his or hers website at such http://wwww.xxx.com address.
I have found this to be the most effective method for getting good high quality links for your blog or website.
Some people also recommend placing links to your blog, on the comments of other people’s blogs. I however, do not recommend this method, as I consider it spamming, and it is still debated whether or not Google really counts these links (it could do more harm than help).
Another method that may help you get links. Is to use a link exchange program, link exchange programs usually do help, but the link quality is not comparable to having real links pointing to your blog, from other high ranking blogs.
