The use of proper keywords in you blog or website is essential if you want to get traffic to your website. This is because your number one source of traffic should be Google, if Google is not your number one source of traffic then you are only getting 10% or 20% of the traffic you could be getting to your website.
The keyword phrase you pick is essential, try picking a keyword phrase that does not have to much competition from other sites, and that it is related to the main subject of your blog. To see the number of people searching for a keyword phrase and more, see Google’s Keyword Tool. You need to get on the first page of Google, if you really want to see real traffic.
So how do I optimize the keywords in my website?
-The best way to start, is to place keywords in all your articles, you have probably noticed that I try to place the keywords “make money online” as often as I can into my blog posts. I do this to increase the richness of the keyword “make money online”. I try to get a consistency of 4% to 7% for the keywords in my blog, getting this percentage will help your rankings in Google.
-You also need to place good meta tags in your html code. But do not place all the keywords you can think of, as this will delude the importance of the keywords. Just place the main phrase or two that you are targeting, this way Google will count them as being more important.
-You shuld place a header at the top of your blog with your main keywords in it, you can also place a link to a page on your site in that header, as Google supposedly likes this.

Keep a Checklist
Most people that try make money online for the first time fail. From my experience they fail 90% of the time because they are not putting enough effort into their project, or are not getting things done. When I first attempted to start an online money making business I thought that it would be fairly easy, but I must admit that I failed. Now looking back at it, I know the reason for my failure. The simple reason for why I failed was because I was not getting enough done, and I was not setting goals. Making money online requires work, you should try to aim at getting a dozen or so things done every day. One thing that I have found to help is keeping a checklist of everything I need to accomplish for the day, this helps tremendously.
